Dr. Philip Gordon grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and has lived here most of his life. He received his bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Missouri in Columbia. His desire to learn about anatomical processes and biological sciences with the exposure to his father’s dental office early in life are what influenced his process to attend dental school. He then attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry Dental School where he received his DDS degree. Since then he has received hundreds of hours every year in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry to stay on the forefront of the latest and greatest dental techniques and advancements.


Dr. Philip Gordon wants to establish great relationships with his patients and give them the best dentistry available. He enjoys all dental procedures, but has particular interests and emphasis in cosmetic smile design, surgical procedures, and implant dentistry. Dr. Gordon and his wife, Lorie, have two young boys, Ben and Jack. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family. Dr. Gordon’s commitment to excellence and service is part of what makes our office the best place for cosmetic and general dentistry.

Dr. Peyman Raissi DDS AKA Dr. Peyray as he is more affectionately known in the Social Media, is one of the biggest rising stars in Dentistry today. Don’t let his young age fool you, Graduated from the University of Tennessee, he began his career with Affordable Dentures and Implants in Nashville TN. In just a few weeks he went from the new young graduate dentist in town to the biggest producing Implant Dentists in the corporate. In 2015, he ranked Nashville office within the corporate the Number 1 office out of 220 for placing and restoring the most number of implants. He has placed over 1000 implants, performed over 220 full arch rehabilitation using dental implants, over dentures and fixed hybrid bridges. Dr. Peyray has been trained by some of the most respected dentists in the world while completing over 900 hours of Dental CE education specific for implant surgery, bone and tissue grafting, prosthodontics as well as IV sedation. In 2016 His passion to keep pushing himself to conquer new challenges led him to build his very own dental practice from the ground up and call it “My New Smile Dental” in Nashville, Tennessee which focuses on Implants and full mouth rehabilitation. 

Dr. Raissi proudly serves on the clinical advisory board for Zest Dental solutions, tests out new implant related products before they’re introduced to public and gives his professional opinion. He has contributed case series for Biohorizons Implants and Teeth Express Magazine. Dr. Raissi co-hosts a podcast called the Millennial Dentist that focuses on the new generation and the experienced dentists, interviews famous speakers to focus on dentists role for the future world of dentistry. With his few thousand of dentists followers online, Dr. Peyray regularly performs Live implant educational surgeries for domestic and international dentist overseas using media apps and social media. 

Peyman is very involved in organized dentistry. He received his fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), a fellow in American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He has passed the written exam for American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and is on his route to become the youngest dentist to receive the Diplomat Status from the Board of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of number of organizations including American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry.

She is native to the Northland, she graduated from NKC high school in 1982. Dr. Sonia Q. Scheerer earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry in 1993.  She served in the United States Navy active duty for 10 years.  Her tour consisted of Marine deployments, the Naval College in Rhode Island and overseas in Naples, Italy.  She was the #1 selectee for out service endodontic residency training for the US Navy.  Dr. Scheerer earned her Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999.  Her scientific research project was selected in the top ten for the American Association of Endodontists for graduate students and was published in the Journal of Endodontics in January 2001.  After the Navy, she returned home to Kansas City North where she started up  her private endodontic practice for 12 years in Zona Rosa area and taught part time at UMKC dental school.  She and her husband moved to Beaver Lake 2013 where she worked part time at the Veterans Health System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville and ran her own endodontic practice downtown Rogers, AR.  Kansas City is home so home is where she returned early December 2016.  Dr. Scheerer was born in Tacoma, Washington.  Her parents were born in Puerto Rico, and she is fluent in Spanish.  Dr. Scheerer and  her husband, Wayne,  have been married 32 years.  They have a son, a daughter and four grandkids.  Their son, Nick is an active duty Air Force electrical lineman.  Nick is stationed at Scott Air Force base.  Dr. Scheerer’s daugher, Lauren, is a Speech Pathologist  and is married to Danny Hawkins.  Lauren and Danny live in Kansas City, so does Dr. Scheerer's mother, siblings and most of her family.  Her hero remains her father, Romulo Quinones; he went to be with the Lord almost  6 years ago.  He was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star medal recipient while  serving 30 years in the US Army.  Dr. Scheerer's grandson, Gavin Scheerer was diagnosed with leukemia this year.  Please keep our Gavin in your prayers for complete healing and remission.

Darwin Bagley, C.D.T., A.S., is Senior Director of Technical Services at Attachments International. He is also part of the tech team with Implant Direct. has over 30 years of experience in the dental technology field.  He has lectured worldwide to Universities and dental study groups on attachment and implant reconstruction. Mr. Bagley is involved with the hands-on prosthetic cources given at the Implant Direct educational center in Las Vegas.

Mr. Bagley has authored newsletters, Attachments & Impalnts Reference Manual and technical articles published in professional journals.
