Casey Hayes started with Hayes Handpiece Company in 2003 as the owner of the Kansas City franchise. He then moved to Chicago in 2005 to develop the Chicago market for Hayes corporate and set up a Midwest repair operation and distribution center. As Vice President of Sales, Casey’s responsibilities include sales representative training, franchise education, customer service and territory development, and product education and sales.

Tom Stratton joined Implant Direct in January of 2013 as the Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Business Development. In December 2013 Tom moved into the role as President. He has 24 years of dental industry experience, and prior to Implant Direct, he was the president of DEKA Laser Technologies Inc. Earlier in his career, Tom was the General Manager at DENTSPLY Implants (formerly DENTSPLY Friadent CeraMed) and Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing at Zimmer Dental (formerly Sulzer Dental). Tom received his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas.

After graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr August de Oliveira completed a GPR at the VA Sepulveda in Los Angeles where he learned how to place dental implants. Dr de Oliveira has been a CEREC Basic and Advanced trainer since 2004 and lectures nationally for Sirona on Conebeam technology and Guided Surgery. He has beta tested CEREC, Galileos as well as the Opti and CEREC guides. Dr de Oliveira has served as the lead clinician for Implant Direct Sybron and has been involved in the development of Guided Surgery Programs such as Blue Sky Plan, Anatomage, and Cybermed. Dr de Oliveira has authored two implant books, "Implants Made Easy" and "Guided Implantology Made Easy." Dr de Oliveira is a forum moderator for Dentaltown.com's Implantology and Mini Implants sections. He maintains a private practice in Encino, California 4 days a week.

Dr. Richard Miron, BMSC, MSc, PhD, DDS, is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree in Medical Science and a Masters in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Bern, Switzerland and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Laval, Canada. He has previously performed numerous short stay post-doctoral research fellowships at the University of Wuhan in China in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and has since co-supervised numerous Master and PhD candidates as an external visiting scholar. His main research interests involve enamel matrix proteins for bone and periodontal regeneration, bioactive growth factors, osteoinductive bone grafting materials and guided bone regeneration in implant dentistry. He has recently been awarded many internationally recognized top young investigators awards including the Andre Schroeder Research Prize from the International Team of Implantology (ITI) (2016), the Robert Frank Award for Basic Research in Dentistry (2015), the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) Young investigator of the Year in the field of Implant Dentistry (2015), the Canadian IADR Hatton Award recipient (2015), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Young Investigator Grant Award (2014).

The Miron research group focuses on tissue regeneration of both soft and hard tissues found in the intra-oral cavity. Tissue engineering strategies include the regeneration of bone, periodontal ligament, gingiva and cementum by means of bioactive growth factors, bone grafting materials, soft tissue regenerative agents, platelet concentrates, novel barrier membranes and dental implants. The scope of these investigations ranges from in vitro molecular biology to pre-clinical animal studies up to human clinical trials.

Dr. Philip Gordon grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and has lived here most of his life. He received his bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Missouri in Columbia. His desire to learn about anatomical processes and biological sciences with the exposure to his father’s dental office early in life are what influenced his process to attend dental school. He then attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry Dental School where he received his DDS degree. Since then he has received hundreds of hours every year in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry to stay on the forefront of the latest and greatest dental techniques and advancements.

Dr. Philip Gordon wants to establish great relationships with his patients and give them the best dentistry available. He enjoys all dental procedures, but has particular interests and emphasis in cosmetic smile design, surgical procedures, and implant dentistry. Dr. Gordon and his wife, Lorie, have two young boys, Ben and Jack. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family. Dr. Gordon's commitment to excellence and service is part of what makes our office the best place for cosmetic and general dentistry.
